Issue 12, October 1997
Editor's Desk
Hello, and welcome back to Gravity! Taking the summer off from publication has refreshed
things both around here and where the writers are, it would appear. There are four names
new to the 'zine this time around, and characteristically excellent work by the usual suspects.
Of special note in Issue 12 are Amy Wright's "Hunters and Gatherers", Dancing Bear's "The Cover
of Her Notebook" and Michael Brackney's "Tommy From the Coast Remembered".
Gravity has just received its 1,400th hit as I write this. Remember, the account with WebCounter
is set so that only one hit per site is recorded so, ideally anyway, fourteen hundred people have read
the 'zine! Who says no one reads poetry any more? The e.zine movement helps out a lot in publicizing Gravity. You
can check them out via the link from the cover of this issue.
Note on the new layout: The HTML I'm using for this issue may well not be standard stuff,
but I've tried it on Navigator 3 and MSIE 3 and it works fine both places. If you're having a hard
time reading any of this, please let me know!
Thanks for reading and enjoy!
