Vanessa Dwyer - Poem

ROMANCE BE OUR CHOCOLATE!!!!
( inspired by the poetry of perry thompson )
The dirt that lay on my face
smells a bit like chocolate.
The aroma reminded me
of the sweet flavor
your mouth owns.
I'm aware by this heaven,
how you walk on the grass
which covers me,
walking streets empty handed
missing the taste of your mouth.
Then, i think about you
sugaring my belly juice
fresh picked & squeezed for me .

You stand at my plot by
the lakeshore dry from
the melting sun & make rivers
with eyes that healed sickness
from my cells.

Alive,
when i was well ,
we touched hands once.
Ate cake together,
Remember?
At the party for my death
your eyes bled for me
I tasted it on my breath,
coating thick on the tongue
wanting the flesh of your neck
one thousand
x itself.

Deserted here in a
wealth of nothingness
shackled to the white fence
not being able to eat.......

CHOCOLATE CAKE

Lusiously lewd.
Full body creamed with
snow white peaks of fluff
liquifing in my mouth.
Swiping the rest,
left my lips,
right down my throat,
blanketing my stomach
in a cocoa rollercoater,
rounding the curves of my insides
singing almond songs of joy
when it hits the bottom

STOP!!!!!!!!

Then,
the ride is over.
Without warning
I was gone.
Dormant awakening
of never tasing again
your lips of kisses
that wait at the door
for my return home.
God damn me!!!!
I never show ,do I.
Can't tell you why
just fill you with memories
of romance with chocolate.
