Steven Sams is an Atlanta artist, a resident of Kirkwood, in Atlanta, Georgia, and a musician. He spends half his time writing and performing music with his band, Rooke. The other half is spent painting canvases and furniture and designing interactive web sites. Having studied art extensively at a young age, he has painted his whole life. His subject matter ranges from portraiture to still lifes to fantasy. His style is somewhere between realism and abstract, including blurred edges and a heavy use of color.
