Fanny-Min Becker - Two Poems
Christina Becker (22)
her bicycle near the compost heap
a week later
her jacket near the Autobahn
just another photo in the papers
unless
you're her father
or the girl herself
Not on Friday the Thirteenth
On Friday the sixth
They found her lying
Near Route 54
I can't convince her mother
From dust we come to dust we go
For she saw that connecting cord
Some twenty years ago
