Kindheit
Zur Musik von Leslies Pink Floyd
Tanzt er auf dem Dach
In der Hand
Ein Raeucherstaebchen
Mit roten brennenden Kreisen
Bemalt er die dunkele Sommernacht
Unendliche Spiralen
Unendliche Kindheit

Childhood
To Leslie's Pink Floyd Music
He dances on the roof top
In his hand
A burning incense-stick
With red bright circles
He lights up the dark summer night
Endless spirals
Endless chilhood
Setting: Lamma Island, Hong Kong
Time: Summer, 1981
Character: a four-year-old boy
A Told Untold Tale
Through the
Dark tunnel
Of an unforgettable past
She came
Flying into my dream
Halo on her head
Flapping her black wings
She came
And froze
My mother's last kiss
On my sweating forehead
The setting is a convent in Germany during the Second World War. The 'she'
is a nun running the convent. The 'I' is a little German girl being sent to
the convent together with her sisters. Their parents were occupied with
helping to smuggle Jewish artists out of the country.
Out of the kitchen window
Awakened by that same old lark
My last autumn leaves shiver
Breaking the wind-still dawn
My Way and Your Way
In my way
I carpentered a heaven
And I sculptured some stars
I climbed up to my heaven
And sprinkled
Saw dust and star dust
Your way
