Dancing Bear - Two Poems
Email Transylvania
(for NMI)
I think of you
in Transylvania typing
against the shadows
my friend
fire burns the night
behind blue glass
-smokeless
and insane in its own light
burning burn burning
black letters against
star white madness
my eyes ignite
straining for one more word
Birch Moon
(for June)
the moon stays in
the comfortable
branches too long
till it has taken the color
of bark for her own
in a cloak of light
not unlike a circle
we have circled our fire
told favorite stories
laughing to the moon
our friend who has stayed
and listened to us
